“This place is so beautiful. I love it. I absolutely love the atmosphere and the vibe in here it’s just amazing. The music isn’t too loud it’s perfect. The wait for my food wasn’t bad at all. I’m surprised because at other restaurants I have to wait too long which gets me aggravated. The staff is so well mannered and friendly. “Great ambiance & atmosphere. Had a reservation during the happy hour but, sadly got there late and was told we were now considered a walk-in which is understandable. Front greeting area is very tight and once waiting, gets a bit cramped, hot & crowded. Once a table opened up we were promptly seated and were obliged for the happy hour specials still. Salute for that! The drinks are sadly pre-made and there isn't an actual bar for cocktails here yet. They do have some top shelf favorites on display but, not sure if that is for bottle service, etc. The food was decent, came out quickly and was fresh. The hookah was good and wasn't too harsh as some other reviews (via the former name of Halo Lounge) have stated. We had a genuinely good time here, love to support black owned business and will visit again.”

“Had brunch with a friend on Sunday 3/13, food, service, ambiance and music amazing! My only issue is that only one option was offered for a glass of Chardonnay at $17/glass. My husband won’t go because of this, he likes to have 2 glasses. It’s something that could easily be done, offering a few more reasonably priced wines by the glass.”

“Went there last night for the first time because we saw these cool, lit-up private tents on the sidewalk which turned out to be the seating area for this bar. The food we tried (fried shrimp, mozzarella sticks, and nachos), the service we received, and the drinks we had were all incredible. The owner and the employees were all super nice and welcoming too - basically everything was great. Prices were beyond reasonable for a bar and they even had the new "newtro" blue soju bottle (Jinro Soju) that I've been seeing recently but never tried. It was amazing. Definitely one of my top favorite soju's now. It tastes much better and cleaner than the same brand's Chamisul Fresh. Even after this whole pandemic dies down I hope they keep the outdoor tent seating - it's really relaxing. Really wish I took more pictures because the vibe this place gave off was really nice. 5 stars, highly recommend. Will be back.”

“WOW! It's all I could say about the food. It was delicious!. My first time at Henrica's was one that left me craving for more. The curry goat was on point! I would say it was my favorite but I've yet to have all items on their menu. I did find the Jerk chicken a bit salty for my palate. While the corn bread had a good flavor, It was more on the cake side rather than the denser crumbly texture that I prefer. The music was great for they had a live dj. The decor seemed a bit dated and could use a makeover, however it did have a "grandma's living room" kinda feel which is fitting if that's what they were going for. Place could use better lighting. As far as service goes, I found the staff to be friendly, but don't expect much more. Restrooms were found clean...very important! Would I recommend this place to a friend...Yes!”
