“Great Stewarts. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. At times it gets busy (like any business). Coffee is always fresh and ice cream is always cold!”

“Went for Dinner at 7:45pm on a Saturday night. Lighthouse was hopping. We had reservations and arrived on time. Host sat us at a high traffic table. We asked to sit at another open table but she refused. Waitstaff was attentive. Drinks and appetizers arrived in a timely fashion. Main courses took an unprecedented 1.75 hours (after placing our orders)... Kitchen was clearly overwhelmed as many other guests were also waiting just as long. Maitre’D apologized profusely and comped some of our drinks... when our main course arrived, the strip steaks and fish were wonderfully prepared. We’d go back again but they really need to either expand the kitchen capacity or limit reservations even more.”

“Absolutely the only Chinese restaurant I would ever recommend. Love the owner and her cooking is better than any other I've tried. We've had an ongoing food relationship for 25+ years. Highly recommend to any who recognize good Chinese food, you will not regret this stop. Happy Eating!”

“This Dunkin Donuts in Scotia now includes a new drive-thru. See photos of it taken by Walter Clark. It is now open (June 2018). These photos of this new drive-thru at Dunkin' Donuts in Scotia will give people to what it will look like. The drive-thru at Dunkin' Donuts in Scotia now opens 24 hours, and its dining room (or restaurant): from 5am to 11 pm. Soon, Dunkin' Donuts will switch its new name to just Dunkin' with the word Donuts removed with its new logo seen on its coffee cup like this video shows with its new logo, and its napkin (DNKN') seen here. The manager there now knows me by name.????????????”

“One thing I took away from our first visit to Angelo's Tavolo for our first anniversary is that it isn't just an upscale place that we would only visit on a special occasion. The dinner entrees all range from the low 20's to mid 40's, sure, but you can get great food at a very reasonable price, especially during happy hour. I can't recommend enough the 7-hour cherry pepper pork. I saw a couple other reviewers that recommended this dish, but I was still considering the lobster bisque. I asked the waiter what he thought and he raved about the pork dish, so we got it. It was one of the tastiest dishes I can ever remember trying and I'm so glad we didn't pass it up! It easily feeds two people at a cost of $14 and you can get a smaller happy hour portion for just $7! So, an excellent dinner at a place with a really cool ambiance, and top notch service for a cost of $7 per person... I don't see a reason not to return very soon. This may be our new happy hour place for a while. A couple other notes that may be helpful: The pub downstairs serves the entire menu from upstairs plus an additional pub menu so if you prefer more of a pub vibe with a few TV's and a more relaxed environment, you'll want to pick this over the neat but relatively soulless upstairs area. Anything you decide to order also comes free with really great bread accompanied by fancy sides of garlic butter, chunks of tasty parmigiana cheese, and also olives (bleck). Don't pass the bread up! Happy hour runs from 4-7. Hope you enjoy!”

“Turf Tavern is amazing both as a restaurant and as a caterer. They have some of the most reasonable prices for both! Staff is friendly and they have various specials at the restaurant throughout the week. It is obvious that there are some regularls and its fun to see the staff take the time to chat with their patrons. Amazing place!”

“Had the ultimate hobo for breakfast - was HUGE! A little heavy on the potatoes, but very good nonetheless. The toast wasn't quite toasted enough - more like soggy bread. Other than that, experience was great. If you're looking for a place that looks and feels like a diner out of history, this is the place!”

“A cornerstone of cuisine in Scotia has always been pizza. Many pizzerias are competing for the same customer base and all of them need to be fantastic to make it in the area. Location is good on the North end of the village. The staff has always been polite even when busy, and the pizza at this location is fantastic, weather it's full ordered pie, or grab and go slices.”

“Location: directly across from Scotia Movie Theatre. Good location, clean and accessible Food: Quality is pleasant. Quantity is equal to price. Ordered the Singapore Curry Noodles, flavored with dry curry powder. The moisture of the noodles had some inconsistency, where some noodles were completely dry and others moist, even after mixing. The meal was overall flavorful, without being too strong or weak. Atmosphere: Open spaces seating, which assists loud conversation(s). Pleasant decoration and feel. Clean atmosphere. Service: service was extremely well done. All items were remembered for a party of 8. Drinks were refilled without question. Meal was served in good timing. Food over all is flavorful. Price: Price to value ratio is fair. Medium to higher income based target market. Currently Jade Bistro has great food, good location and tremendous service. Average plate costs for dinner is about $16.”

“I don't even know where to start. I see this tiny little restaurant next to my motel I'm thinking of myself if you want to give it a try. I'm so glad that I went in there the food was phenomenal the service was impeccable I wished I lived closer so I could eat there more often very rarely do I ever give a 5-star review ????????????????”

“The food was good and it was priced fairly well. But I asked to use the bathroom and he didn't have one. I didn't realize you could have a restaurant that serves food that doesn't have a bathroom.”

“Love their soft serve ice cream. Wish they had more flavors than chocolate, vanilla, and a twist. But very rich and creamy. No complaints.”

“Awesome local tavern with great craft beer. Owners are great and staff is friendly. Great home town pub. Do yourself a favor and get the pretzel if they have it available! Amazing! Best beer selection around and wings are spectacular.”

“I live fairly close to this venue and have purchased my share (and my wife's ) of their subs. While those subs are made to your order, the bread and sub rolls are contained in a cabinet. In my opinion MOST of those rolls are not the freshest. I have been to two other shops in the past and have always gotten a fresher roll than at the Mohawk Avenue Subway. Maybe I have just hit them at the same bad times so I will reserve any real bad reviews. I'll keep going but can only give three stars.”

“The Buffalo wings are awesome. We got extra hot - they were amazing! They were also done on time, the service was great and the price was fair. We plan to go back soon. We went back again for wings and pizza for The Final Four. It was perfect!”

“Pizzas are good the the Lamb over Rice was filled with different Flavors however Chicken over Rice needed more Flavor the Chicken. The 1 less Star was for a Older Women who took our Orders very Rude, Arrogant & yelled out our Orders loud as if anybody cared to know what we Ordered...! don't like her Attitude towards us, she acted as if she was the Boss of the Store”

“Best Japanese in the area. It is authentic and was originally owned and run by Japanese family. I believe a longtime worker they trained well now runs it with great pride. Its a little pricey and the area is a bit shady. I wish they were on a main street like Union Street or Central Avenue and that they had more customers so they wouldn't have to have so high prices. I normally can't eat raw fish sushi pieces, especially from these Chinese/Korean owned and run Japanese restaurants all over the capital district. But Mari's sushi is so fresh, melt in your mouth and no fishy taste. Not sure about their ramen if its authentic, that's new on the menu, after the original Japanese owner Mari sold the place. Anyways solid food and service but a bit pricey. I wish I got to try their match tiramisu, oh well, maybe on my birthday.”
