“I had dinner with my wife and 2 other couples last night for Valentines day. My wife and i had the scallop special. The scallops over the asian noodles with vegetables were cooked perfectly and the dish was full of flavor. There was a band and we really enjoyed the night. This place is great spot in the summer and the winter as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone.”

They hosted a bridal shower for my best friend and did an awesome job..the waitresses were lovely, made sure our glasses were never empty and catered to all our needs. Fred was more than accommodating, I would definitely recommend this place to host your special occasion. Also a great restaurant for a nice dinner, quick bite and cocktail or just to chill outside and watch a sunset. I will be back soon!”

“Awesome awesome awesome!!! I went here for dinner with my brother last weekend and we had a fantastic experience. My brother’s favorite author is James Joyce, so he had been dying to dine here. The atmosphere is perfection. It is spacious, but retains a coziness. From the walls with aged murals of James Joyce to the super impressive chandeliers comprised of warmly lit antique style Edison bulbs of different styles with a few red ones added into the mix, the ambiance is divine. This place is effortlessly cool, sexy, and charming. It would certainly be a great spot for couples, as it also evokes a romantic vibe. Service was prompt, and our waiter was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend the Scotch Egg and Jumbo Pretzel with IPA Beer Cheese for appetizers; totally sublime. For our entrees, we both selected the James Joyce burger, which I have to say was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I wish we would have saved room for dessert, as I’m sure it would have been just as sensational.”

On Friday nights there is live music and Saturday nights feature karaoke with the very fun DJ Dougie Fresh. In the warm weather, there is outdoor seating. It's a great place to hang out with friends. “I've heard amazing reviews about this location, especially from friends and family. I thought I would try it for myself. My boyfriend took me here for a snack one evening and we ordered the spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and yellowtail. While the food came out in a short period of time, the presentation of the sushi was awful. It looked like half-rolled sushi where it would literally fall apart when picked up. There were bits of rice on the outside of the seaweed, not properly rolled. We decided to order another selection and choose spicy tuna hand rolls, but the same thing happened. Update 12/16/2018 I went here for one of their Happy Hour specials and was surprised to see how the service had improved. The food tasted excellent and had a satisfactory tap selection. The bartenders were friendly and inviting.”

“First time dining and used a gift card we won at a fundraising auction. Food was great but our waitress was not. However, there is at least one exceptional waiter there. He ended up checking in on us. We could hear him explaining specials to his tables yet our waitress said nothing! I totally would have ordered one of them after hearing his spin in it too! I'm really disappointed because I wanted to love this place. I loved the vibe but bad service is something that really deters my husband and I from revisiting an establishment. GREAT dessert!”

Service can be hit or miss from what I had heard and although our waitress was incredible, she was the only one running the show while a bunch of people stood behind the bar with their arms folded or on their phones. (The bar was full too...a few people came in and were waiting at least a good 5 minutes or more before anyone came over.) Not every thing can be perfect...but keep working together so that you can keep delivering this amazing food!!! Will be back!”
