We stayed at the beachcomber so the closest restaurant was the breakers. They have a cafe updtairs and a bar on the lower level. The views are great from the top. The people very very nice and service was good. Overall the food was good. We enjoyed the frozen drinks at the bar.
I really like Breakers Montauk. They are good for both delivery and sitting in to eat, although I believe sitting in requires cash. Since they are a well loved restaurant, they struggle to deliver quickly, but that is the price you pay for good food.
I recommend the laksa (either beef or the chicken/shrimp one), the hot rice bowls, the pad see eiw, hainese chicken over rice, popcorn chicken, the chicken curry or the basil fried rice.
I order often from here and come in to sit as well and they haven't disappointed me yet - great Chinatown spot for Malaysian or Thai food.
To be clear, I didn't stay here, but I would like to. The heated pool was still open in October, which is a big selling point for me. We just stopped to look around, and the gentleman that worked there showed us a cottage and let us poke around. The separate cottages have a wonderful old fashioned feel. Inside, they are spotless and impeccable. There is a snack bar and a lounge with a deck. It was their last weekend of the year. (October)
i think that they did a wonderful job redecorating the hotel! and the little cafe is the cutest! the service is amazing and the food is also very good.
It was a quaint motel. It is setup that you have your own mini house. While it maybe not exactly be wheelchair accessible, it is still a cute setup up for a mini family vacation or romantic getaway. They have a nice eatery upstairs above the bar area next to the bouquet. Prices are a bit steep but typical for the area. However parking is extremely limited at times and narrow. You can park on the grass along front on the property but there are no official parking strips.
