“George is an amazing cook!! I hired him to BBQ for 150 people for my husbands 50th birthday. The food was amazing!! My favorite was the shrimp he marinated in his own marinade it was soooo good. “It is not very often when I think I owe the Manager and staff a excellent review but it is truly deserved in this case. I booked 2 nights initially at the hotel. The first night we were unable to arrive do to weather. Melissa was very kind and let us cancel with no charge. Thank you Melissa! The nest night from the moment we entered the hotel we were treated with top notch service. It started when we were welcomed entering and the gentleman who checked us in was extremely polite and courteous. My room was large and very comfortable. We had only booked one night for a party of three but we all agreed we should stay for a week. The evening manager Joe was able to accommodate our request and we were planing on enjoying our stay. Unfortunately our company changed our plans and we requested the next morning that the hotel cancel our stay of the extended period. Our request was granted! I was very pleased with all of the staff and the hotel. I give all of the hotel staff the highest marks! Thank you and I will visit again. All the Best! Stayed July 2016”

“Food was very good. Service was good; there was one mistake on a side dish substitution, but they corrected it promptly. However, they were out of the cheese for spinach dip at 5:00 PM on a Sunday evening, so they lose a star. The 2 for $20 (or $24) was a very good deal since you are getting a main course plus appetizer and dessert for less than the main course alone. That, along with the Friday's Rewards program, made it a very good value.”

The best part about this place is that for years the two owners have been serving their customers personally.
