“A wonderful use of space, bare walls and ceilings really opens the place up. Dart boards, a pool table and shuffleboard makes it a fun spot for a younger crowd which probably crowds out the place on the weekends. The cocktails are tropical and eclectic. The food is pretty much pub fare with a nice twist. However, what I really enjoyed the most was the great selection of local beers on tap and the friendly and attentive service. Overall, this is a great spot for a good beer and a bit of fun. I will be back and you will too.”

“Based on a recommendation of a friend I joined a four friends for a last minute get together. Based on the over exaggerated nature of my friend that gave me the recommendation I was expecting an average experience. I was wrong this restaurant went above and beyond. From the attentive staff making sure our glasses were never empty to the manager even stopping over to see how we were enjoying our meal, even the chef's in the kitchen sending out our orders looking so meticulously prepared as if they had sculpted masterpieces to to be observed instead of consumed. In short the food, service and ambiance were all on point! Keep up the great work definitely coming back regularly!”

“Really great quality food. The guac is so fresh and delicious. The ONLY downside to this place is that they get you in and out pretty quickly so as long as you are only looking for a quick bite and cocktail on your lunch break or a pit stop for dinner, you're good. But if you are on a first date or looking for somewhere to chill for more than 45 minutes, this isn't the place. However I will be returning frequently because the quality and taste of the food is top notch!”

The best part of this restaurant are the server and the uniqueness of their oyster which is always fresh cold and delicious with never a sand or shell as you eat them. They are cleaned to profession. “I hadn't been here in about 8 years so I expected the worst, but they've really turned it around! They've managed to keep the old charm while putting a more modern spin on the space itself. Mike behind the bar was a gracious host, serving up signature cocktails and the young lady he was working with was very attentive to the other guests, as well. You can tell the staff works really hard and keeps it a nice environment, with a warm, inviting ambience. It's definitely time to come back to the half penny pub!”
