“Went hear today for the first time to see Jimmy and the Parrots. Our waitress was on point and very sweet. Checked in on us, but not too much. The music was outstanding, but we knew it would be considering we’ve seen them before. Owner was present and very hands-on to make sure that everyone was having a great time. The owner and waitress were nice enough to buy us a shot before leaving, thank us for coming, and letting us know that bringing in great quality musicians was a priority. Even the bouncers and guys that worked the door very friendly and accommodating, and had a great conversation with them upon leaving. Shout out to Mike! Vanilla with chocolate sprinkles! It’s clear that a lot of time and effort is put into the details ranging from the food, the quality of the music, and the way the place looks and feels. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend it as a must see if you visit Ocean Beach, Fire Island.”

“A Fire Island local here. Went here for a mother daughter dinner date. We had a wonderful time! Our food was delicious, and our server, Olivia, was super sweet, attentive and accommodating. I have spent a lot of time in Central America, and the jerk chicken entree was delightful. My mom had the scallops and pineapple dish, which we both agreed was fantastic. We then recommended the scallops to all of the adjacent tables, all of whom thought they were amazing, too! Our drinks were also lovely. This new restaurant and menu are a breath of fresh air for Ocean Beach and we look forward to returning to try more dishes!”

“Haven't been here since before the pandemic. It's a great place, live music but also roo s away enough that you can hear both the music and conversation. Menu somewhat smaller than before but sufficient options. Seemed to be more dishes with chili spice which limited our choices. Had a quesadilla, good and cheesy. The STAR was the salmon. Outstanding! Served with brussel sprouts which were very tasty but my personal pet peeve is when they are not trimmed sufficiently and the hard, chewy core is a negative. The rest of the sprout cooked sufficiently, just that root part is a negative. Will definitely be back as the salmon will call to me. Justin, our server was helpful acvomodatinng and knowledgable.”

“So freakinggg AWESOME! I had such an amazing experience here! The staff was extremely polite, professional, & accommodating. The food was bomb, I got sticky ribs and a steak sandwhich which had arugula and I think Gruyère cheese which is one of my fave things to get eating out. Honestly I’m not a big french fry person but these fries were sick, they tasted super fresh and crispy like they made them from scratch, probably the best fries I’ve had. They killed it and the specialty cocktails were amazing as well. My waitress was an older women who was super attentive and so sweet, she called me hun & love, & just had an overall nice/positive presence to her. I loved the atmosphere and color scheme of the place and how they incorporated some old stuff from crickets. Will deff be making this one of my regular go to spots! More than 5 stars for sure!”

“A dark wood place with low volume music that adds to the relaxing and restful vibe. There's a bunch of places to sit to dine in; tables for two or four, window bars, and cafe bar. The layout is nice because the center of the room is open for people getting food and coffee to go. Food came out super fast, and is great cafe quality. We had some of their baked goods and they were tasty and would pair well with their coffee to balance the sweetness. We tried the croque madame and le grand BLT (with an egg). Both were good portions, really delicious and balanced, and did not overcompensate with huge accompaniments ( a few pieces of fruit to cut how creamy-rich the croque madame is, and a few home made pita chips for the BLT). The food was fresh, hot, and not greasy. I'd recommend coming here during off hours or weekday if you like the quiet and would like to recharge outside of the home. Place was well heated in the wintertime. By the way, they do sell their bacon jam. It's tasty!!!”

“Hands down the best catering experience I ever had!! It was a last minute party my family asked me to host since cousins from out West unexpectedly visited ( that’s another story 🥴). This was on a Friday and we were looking to throw a party on Saturday afternoon. I called The Gourmet Bagel Co and explained my situation. The owners were fantastic and extremely accommodating given the short notice. They went through the menu and made suggestions for the amount of people I had. The next day they delivered amazing platters of wraps, salads and mini sandwiches that my family loved. The food was simply amazing! They use really good ingredients and didn’t cut any corners on the presentation. My wife was thrilled and insists we only cater from them in the future. Thanks for helping on such short notice and delivering an amazing meal for an unexpected event”
