“For years Claudio's has graced the Greenport Harbor, but now it does so in a new style after undergoing closure and renovations. There are three dining choices right here, but when in good weather like Memorial Day weekend, the outdoor Waterfront and Crabby Jerry's is drawing the more crowds plus there is music. And there is dock space for those that come by boat. The views and outdoor vibes mixed with clams and oysters, and a cocktail of your choice screams summer is coming. Although reservations are not required as the summer heats up a plan to get a seat at your favorite spot to the dine, check their website for live music events. There is paid to park for boats, and we parked a few blocks away, but there are places closer. There is a quaint downtown to visit. Ah, the sounds and smell of summertime, you can taste it here.”

The food is amazing (try the Avacado Toast) and the service was excellent. The only gripe I had was the $8 glass of orange juice. I recommend this place and I’ll be back next year!”

“Good ambiance and decor, very small wine list (presented mostly by one local vineyard - One Women), limited cocktails availability. Service extremely slow and not attentive, food - I can only judge on what I have ordered: meat/cheeses board - I have enjoyed cheeses, but instead of meat cuts, I was served with few slices of average salami and not good smoked sausage. Crab cakes were just OK, but nothing special. Drinks were good. The prices of menu rather on high end - cannot judge if price set appropriately or not. Really good compliment to music - beautiful live blues played by live musician. Was expecting more. Will give them break though - they just opened and oiling the wheels in process. Next time in town will go for drinks and music... Good luck, and hope for improvement.”

I held back one star only for the fact that because its so popular, and people stop on the shoulder of the road, it causes traffic and a little danger to cyclists and drivers. Walk there if you can!”

I love going for a drink at night...great set up. The only reason I give it one-less-than-perfect stars is because there can be a lot of mosquitoes....don't go there without the bug spray!”
