“In fairness, they havejust reopened. Skippers was a well kept North Fork secret for decades. Expectations were certainly high walking in. Skippers 2 does not meet the same standard as the original. Maybe in time it will, we'll see (but not too soon). French fries were barely warm and tasted like cardboard. They quickly replaced them, saying, "We keep them under a heat lamp, they should be hot" . YUCK, serve them FRESH. The Cod Fish sandwich was not Cod Fish , maybe frozen flounder, and quite over done. Honestly, the lunch I had rated one star, but I gave them a 3 for benefit of the doubt for being very new.”

There is parking along the road in front and side as well as their parking lot. They are competing with Legends for parking. “I went to Little Fish on this past Friday evening and sat at the bar for dinner. The cocktails were delicious and the service was excellent. I ordered the mussels and my friend ordered the burger- both were excellent! I would order my mussels again- fresh local ingredients- very flavorful! The man next to me ordered the swordfish Milanese and it looked awesome- he confirmed he was very pleased with his order. Overall very Friendly welcoming staff, fun atmosphere- live music was an added bonus. I’m excited to go back this summer and try some more items on the menu.”

“Takeout seafood in the style of a New England clam shack. Three different types of lobster rolls for only $22 with fries (a very good price in the North Fork.) The fried calamari with aioli and peperoncini was great too. Mostly takeout, has a few tables in front to eat on site, or walk over to Mitchell Park and enjoy the view while you eat.”

“Wow, where to begin! My husband and I came for a long weekend and stayed at Rose Hill for our wedding anniversary. We were blown away by the beautiful accommodations, amazing food and incredibly friendly staff. We did several wine tastings in the area but Rose Hill had by far our favorite wine and atmosphere.
