“First things first, I am a MAJOR foody! (Food lover). Given it is a new establishment I sampled two items to see what we’re working with! The first item was a beef patty with cheese (white mozzarella cheese) and I must say it was BOMB! I genuinely enjoyed it. Many places do not sell beef patties with cheese and if they do it’s usually made with yellow American cheese, YUCK! However they do have the option for both which is cool too! The second item was a piece of their fried chicken & I must say I was not too pleased being that their named consists of FRIED CHICKEN I assumed that would be their BEST dish but it wasn’t. The skin on the chicken had flavor I must admit but the actual chicken was very bland! Now it wasn’t the worst chicken but moving forward, adding more seasoning and allowing it to marinate longer would be ideal! Monticello does not have many food options and the ones they do are not all that great! Bringing a new establishment to the area you can EASILY take over the competition by taking customer reviews into consideration! Overall, my experience was pretty good and I can’t wait to try more dishes that they have to offer!”

“On a drive from buffalo to NYC my partner and I stumbled upon this unbelievable find. We dined in a Sunday evening and from start to finish the meal was OUTSTANDING!! The atmosphere is rustic and charming. We were greeted by the chef/owner Bob who welcomed us with great conversation on top of the already unique and delicious food (homemade pasta and local meat YUM). You won’t find pasta this good in 100 miles (make sure to grab a baguette in your way out!).”

“Came here for dinner during the holiday. The pizza was awesome and I would definitely get it again. The calzone was no joke. A medium size can fill up two people! I would recommend the small size for girls who can't eat that much unless you're taking it home. The wings were pretty good too so I would definitely recommend it. The only issues were the wait and the wrong order. There weren't that many people in the restaurant, and we had to wait so long for our food---around 20-30 minute. The waitress also got our orders wrong several times. Other than that the food was good so I'll keep it at a 4-star.”

“Fantastic menu, so much more than the thin crusted wide variety of pizzas. Then the view of a beautiful overlook of the Delaware river. Cozy dining area inside where if you take a break from looking at the river you have the unique wood fired pizza oven behind the counter. Outside dining on those accommodating days and always the chance of seeing a bald eagle glide by looking for lunch from the river bay. Specialty cocktails that add to the enjoyment of sitting back and relaxing to a fine meal.”
