“A cozy pub/restaurant. Cozy meaning, its not a huge place. Brother Frank and I arrived on Tuesday evening(Taco Tuesday) and to say the least, it was busy. Took at least 30minutes before we could get a seat at the bar. The tables were also busy. We came for some ????'s and were glad they provided free chips and salsa. We did not partake of the Taco specials mainly because of the possible wait times. Apparently the food was really good as everyone else was ordering the Tacos and they seemed well prepared and of a decent size. Not the typical 3 finger size street taco. They were $5.00 each. All things considered it was a fun visit. And a good Beer selection.”

“Very good food and at a decent price. I had Sweet & Sour Pork. I was surprised that it had pineapple in sauce, and pleasantly surprised at how much flavor it added. It had large pieces of tomatoes, which I easily pushed aside, as tomatoes often do not agree with me. It was served with a delicious vegetable egg roll, called a spring roll where I live. The plate also comes with fried white rice, and I asked for pork fried rice as a substitute, and it was immediately agreed to, and there was no "substitution" charge. Before ordering they brought out a bowl of Chinese noodles, and 2 sauces. A hot pot of tea was also presented. No charge, which is customary. The quantity was a little more than expected, so I brought home a small container. My grandson had the same meal, substituting chicken instead of pork. He ate his entire plate, minus the tomatoes and pineapple. He ate almost all of the egg roll, and left a small bite since he was full! For Chinese food with a twist, I strongly recommend that you try Eng's!”

“Great place to reflect on the meaning of life. This is low-brow coffee, but the coffee is good nonetheless. Comes light and sweet by default, so be sure to say "no sugar" slowly and distinctly if you don't want sugar. The vinyl-upholstered chairs are designed for small folks, and are comfortable for reading or staring into the depths of a smart phone. The atmosphere -- perhaps due to hyperglycemia? -- is generally a cheerful one. For a quick, reliably potable cup of coffee at six in the morning, or a slice of [not] working, Americana this is definitely the place. Trust fund babies and 20-somethings on Daddy's nickel can be found getting their caffeine fix elsewhere nearby.
