The Gem

Had dinner here for the first time on August 11 and it was nothing short of spectacular. Great service and great food. Best pulled pork, brisket and chicken we have ever had. Side dishes consisted of coleslaw, potato salad and baked beans and they were all fabulous. We will be back.

Good food, casual atmosphere, friendly team. Cocktails are top notch. Ribs were perfect. Brisket done well, just slightly dry. Cheesy corn side delicious. Fried artichokes very good. Baked beans solid. If you’re in Lake George/Bolton it’s a great choice

Really good BBQ. I had the brisket sandwich with potato salad and my wife had the pork with artichokes. A nice selection of homemade sauces to choose from as well. The cocktail was good but definitely a little on the pricier side. 15 bucks for a margarita that was only about 2-3 ounces. The attached photo is how it came, that’s not a pint glass, it’s a tumbler. Overall a great experience though and we will be back.

Glowing!!! Enchanted with Gem! Excellent value for the price, and we tasted passion and care in every morsel and moment! From initial greeting down to the metal straws - so thoughtful, and so fun! I would come just for the sides, but the meat was heaven, home made sauces - Georgia mustard, omg- and the sides!!! We are in love. Grateful to all for their efforts!

The name speaks for itself! So happy to have this new "gem" in town! Absolutely delicious barbecue food, an inspired cocktail menu, the coziest chic decor that weirdly makes me excited for winter (maybe it's the beautiful fireplace!?), and a super friendly excited staff. The owners clearly know what they are doing. Couldn't ask for a better place to open on our block! Thank you for being here!
