Christine's Restaurant - Lake George

We drove two hours to find a breakfast restaurant we had been too before but we were unsuccessful in locating it! As we were driving around we found Christine’s restaurant. This was their opening weekend and I was not at all dissatisfied that I couldn’t find the breakfast spot we originally drove down there for! Their portions were perfect, waitstaff was very pleasant and their breakfast was GREAT. It’s also a nice touch almost everything is from scratch. It was one of the most rememberable breakfasts that I’ve had! We absolutely loved it. We plan to drive back down soon just to try their dinners!

Went here way back during their opening weekend on Memorial Day and they did a phenomenal job. Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and the staff and owner were extremely attentive and nice. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area.

Had amazing sausage gravy and biscuits! Food was delicious and came quickly! Staff was wonderful. Plus loved having a lake view to see the parasailers! Friendly and relaxed atmosphere!

For those who knew this place as Grandma's and went here all time, it is not quite the same. If you go here expecting what you were used to, you will probably be a bit disappointed. However, if you go there with an open mind like we did, you will most likely leave happy. Service is exceptional: Both times we went we had great waitresses and the owner even checked in with us. They also went out of their way to help us celebrate my cousin's 14th birthday. The atmosphere is pleasant and more modern but lacks the old "family", Grandma feel. The food is quite good, even if the portions are a bit smaller, and most everything is home made. I ate here for breakfast and a dinner was not disappointed. Grandma's will surely be missed but if you give Christine's an honest try, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
