Mario's Restaurant

Did not have reservations. Hostess suggested we wait for table at bar and so glad she did! Drinks were fantastic and wait was much shorter than anticipated. Server was super friendly and pleasant. Some items that we ordered were very good (fresh mozzarella and tomato salad with balsamic reduction, minestrone soup, and seafood pasta special), some were average (eggplant was little tough/chewy), and some were disappointing (chocolate chip cookie pie was dry). Dedicated and helpful staff made up for any disappointments with food.

I went here with my family on Wednesday, and we are from Long Island and haven’t been to Lake George in about 8 years. My dad asked me to google local restaurants and this was the first place that came up. First off, our waitress Andi was absolutely perfect. She was friendly and attentive. From the soups to the drinks the our entree and finally the dessert, it was the utmost wonderful diner experience my family and I had. We highly recommend this place to anyone new to the Lake George area, or if you have been coming here for years and never stopped in, definitely pop on in there. You won’t regret it!

Had a fantastic dinner there. Waitress Peggy was excellent and staff very helpful. We stay across the street every year and this was first time we came here and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great experience. I would give more stars if I could.

Had a wonderful sausage pasta and a just-salty-enough potato and bacon soup. Service was top notch and the atmosphere was warm and classic. Felt just right for a nice night out while vacationing on Lake George.

My wife and I have been here in the past. I went here with a friend while attending Americade. I think the veal cutlet was great. Our server was very attentive and personable. Prices are reasonable.

I would recommend Mario's to anyone.
