Sushi Yoshi

My first visit to the Lake George area. I wanted a very casual dining experience to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday. Nice menu selection between Chinese and Japanese, not too overwhelming. I wasn't too crazy about the pork dumpling. But the sushi, was delicious. And for dessert, my daughter's ordered the lava cake and fried ice cream. No disappointment there. Waitress was friendly and service was excellent all around. I highly recommend this place.

Came during Restaurant Week for the Hibachi and wasn't disappointed. Expect your regular hibachi experience with the same tricks you'd see elsewhere. A patron at my table asked for her steak to be done medium rare. Our chef was overseeing so many things that we had to point out when her steak was good to be taken off and he waited even longer. By that point the steak was no longer medium rare.

Went in at 6:30 on a Thursday afternoon. It was surprisingly not busy so we were seated quickly. We needed up doing hibachi. I got steak and shrimp with rice and noodles and my girlfriend got chicken and shrimp with rice and noodles. Appetizers were the basic iceberg lettuce salad and miso soup. The chef was entertaining though and the food was pretty good.

We were looking for something to wait the traffic out on the way home, so we stopped in here. There was barely anyone there surprisingly. However it is a really cool place and the food and drinks were great. We each got a few sushi rolls and some apps, everything g was to our liking and the prices were fair.

Great atmosphere and thoughtful staff. The meals had a simple American Chinese cuisine but done very well. The sushi was also great quality. Overall 10/10 for presentation and everything else had no complaints.
