Green Mansions Golf Club

I love Green Mansions. It is hilly, fun and interesting and was laid out way back when greens were made small. My favorite is the eighth, which sits atop a mesa. One time a young girl asked if I would take her so she could drive the cart. On another day, a neighbor asked to accompany me to play. He had bought a ragtag set of clubs at a yard sale. But he brought a big surprise to the course! After the nine-hole round, I introduced Bill to the owner, Ron. “This man just shot two under par for nine!” Ron said, “I like it better when you bring that girl.” Walking out of the clubhouse, my neighbor asked, “What girl?” I’ll include her photo, because when she’s there she would be the main attraction.

Always a great time

This is my local 9 hole golf coarse. I am a member here and this is my first year really taking golf seriously. This is a great coarse to go out and kill 3 hours. The price for 9 holes is just over 20 dollars with a cart. Its busy from time to time but everything seems to move well. The staff here are very friendly. The coarse itself is very well maintained with the owner of the coarse living right on site. The #8 hole called the volcano is a site to be see and a challenging par 3. I believe this is the place to play if you are in the Chestertown area. It is very close to town if you would like a bite to eat after your round.

Loved it! Friendly clubhouse. Drinks and food readily available. The fairways and greens are in great shape. Tee boxes are VERY well maintained too. Reasonable rates, and light traffic make it a wonderful place to get in nine before lunch or dinner. Summer program affialtion with the Youth Commission is a great contribution backt o the community as well - and is helping bring youngsters into the sport at a time when it needs it most.
