“Great atmosphere, was quiet early Saturday evening. Clean, comfortable, and fantastic family service. Food came out quick, even for the place being slow at the time. Prices are hard to beat. Know in advance that it is a very limited menu, with limited hours, but understand this is a small family who also has other jobs. Seems like they do this more for the fun of it, than as a job. Nice change of pace. The flavors in the brisket could be emphasized a little more, the pulled pork was good, and the ribs had a uniqueness well worth a try at least once. Sides are good, desserts are tasty. Definitely a nice sidestep away from the norm in the Newark/Lyons area.”
