“Having eaten here once before, I am thrilled to say that my initial impression was not simply "love at first bite". That's because everything the second time (last night) was once again SPECTACULAR! After being greeted warmly by Kathy (yes, I remembered her name), my party and I were seated in the beautiful and comfortable dining room where we enjoyed non-hurried cocktails which were followed by a relaxed, well-paced meal of culinary gems. The scallion pancakes were complimented by a tangy dollop of Turkish yogurt, the duck was moist, rich and flavorful and the noodles with wild-mushrooms provided a nice counterpoint to perfectly prepared scallops. Service, setting and cuisine are each an easy 10...so, this is not a one-night-stand for me...I am looking forward to a long-term relationship.”

“Tasty and finger licking good. This was simply mini burger fantastic. This place is an absolute must. First of all it's as clean as a whistle and that's a great sign. The menu of burgers is small, which generally means they can't make mistakes in cooking them. They are not terribly expensive and the size of the burgers are huge. A Burger, fries and a drink will satisfy you for sure. Their shakes are delicious. Obviously the selection of burgers include Angus beef, Spanish beef, chicken, Hawaiian salmon and falafel. The buns are terrific, both fries are tasty. They have party platters that will be a hit at any time of the year. They have chicken fingers for kids. The seating is great. The place is bright and clean. Parking is spectacular and you can call in your order and even have it delivered. Try it with the kids.”

The Surpfried flavor described online wasn't on the menu here (shame, that was the one I really wanted to try). And where's the pickled moo? “Hard to find if you don't know Hastings as it is up an alley right after a their window display on Warburton. The waffle itself was tasty. The "Plain" regular full size waffle came with a choice of maple syrup or locally sourced honey. I had mine with maple syrup. Again it was all the menu says it is....crisp yet fluffy and airy. $5.50 was a little pricey for me, and if you want anymore toppings there is a $0.50 charge for each. I will go back and try a savory version for lunch as it seems more substantial. However, for the plain w/o the toppings I would skip it. Service was nice, very friendly and the waffle was cooked to order fresh while you wait. Not much seating just a window type bar with stools but they are available to eat on the go.”

“Very clean place with seating and sampling cups for the soft self-serve ice cream. Good parking outside. We got a delicious green drink, apples, mint, cucumber and strawberry, and sampled various yogurt ice-creams, and also had a ube, Korean purple yam square cake with a sprinkling of shaved coconut! Very friendly staff. Restroom inside. I returned recently and got a green drink of apples, pineapple, mint and kale... this is going to be my drink next time too because it was really delicious and so healthy for you too! They put the right amount of mint!”

“Just went for the first time today. Staff was super friendly and the service was so fast. The food was great and uncomplicated. Cold brew coffee was great which is always hard to get right. The space is clean and bright. Update: Went again and it was still really great! I had a vegan egg sandwich (made with tofu and mushroom "bacon") which was better than the real thing. Again staff was great and it was busy without being crowded. I hope more people start coming here!”

“Ther food was amazing. Nothing left to be wanted. Awesome food. The "hibachi" food was amazing and the sushi was to die for. However.... the description says "hibachi" and states that "cool tricks for the kids". Yet when we arrived there was no visible hibachi. When we asked the very kind waitress, she explained the food is cooked on a hibachi grill in the back kitchen. Oh well. The food was worth 10 stars, but I give 4 because after driving 40 minutes my kids were disappointed”
