“So much gratitude for the kindness and thoughtfulness of this store and employees in Ossining, NY!!! I'm a healthcare at a major hospital in NYC, and today, my roommate and I took a trip by train out of the city to Ossining, NY, my first trip out of NYC in over 2 months! After our hike, we tried to find a restroom in town since the train station was closed for New Year's but it was like Mary and Joseph trying to find a birthing suite in Bethlehem on Christmas Eve. We went to the Shell Station. They said "no room for the public in our bathrooms". BP said the same. Finally, with full bladders and heavy hearts, we arrived at the 7-Eleven. Fortunately, they welcomed us with open arms and an open restroom. Additionally, once our bladders had been emptied, we found an array of items to add to our coffee such as different types of milk and creamers. What could have been a miserable end to a much-needed day out of the city, turned into a refreshing moment of hospitality: an open restroom and some thoughtful accoutrements to add to NYC healthcare worker's coffee after a much-needed day in nature spent in a small New York town... Stop in and say thanks to the workers. They're hidden saints in this small town...”

“There are so many different ways to gamble there that the line sometimes is out the door for people wanting to support the educational system of our great state of New York also known as the Empire State not the Big Apple it's the Empire State because Rome was once the Empire State and Athens was once the Empire State and Paris was once the Empire State and so on and so on but let's not talk about Alexandria because it was just a library and it was as delicious 2 a voracious reader as the delicious samplings of this fine Eatery. Particularly pleasing is the courteous and professional staff who run a tight ship and make sure that when you prepare your food that it is sanitary and there are plenty of fixings so you can make your burger delicious and not have to dress your chicken sandwich in the car which is a dangerous endeavor are you trying to Google your next pit stop for legal gambling. The picture that follows is what I like to call a butterflied open-faced spicy Jamaican beef patty with some refried beans and a couple of other little pickled goodies with a number of different melted cheeses and then cut into bite-sized croquembouche has its purpose that allows you to pop one little profiterole into your mouth at a time but this is cut into bite-size pieces so it could feed up to eight people. And in case anyone is wondering why I am so infatuated with a professional courteous service staff the answer is a business runs on returning customers and that is very important to me and I get the feeling that the people there enjoy their job and like serving the local people 24 hours a day 7 days a week and it is a convenience store but it is so much more.”

“Stop in here when I'm working in the area and need something quick. The staff is always polite and friendly. Greet you as soon as you walk in. The inside is very clean. The food is pretty good especially when its fresh. It can be very hard to leave the parking lot. Mainly if you are trying to head south on rt 100 and during the morning and afternoon rush hrs. Other than that it's ok. Will continue to go here when in the area”

“Deli is open 24/7 which is nice. It's in a shared parking lot with a hardware store. For me its hit or miss when I go there. Most of the time its busy(which is good for them I get that) you will end up waiting usually 10-15min to get your food. The food is usually very good but they dont put alot on the sandwich. The place is kept pretty clean and has a good selection. The prices though are high especially for what you are getting. It's nice it's open all times and I guess that's why everything is expensive. I still go there just not nearly as often as I use to”

“While the store hasn’t opened yet, I can see by looking into the windows, that this will be the most elegant supermarket in the Scarsdale/Eastchester neighborhood! I’m a supermarket “ junkie” and I’m always excited when I can look forward to the opening of what promises to be a great place to buy our groceries.”

“Born and raised in Utica I was excited to see this place pop up. I went in skeptical as I haven't had a pizza the way I like it outside of Utica in 20 years. Ordered a half sausage and mushroom and some wings. The pizza brought me right back home and I haven't stopped smiling since. Do yourself a favor and order from here. It's not your typical NYC pie and is not Sicilian like some would say. Wings were large and has the perfect crisp to them. Can't wait to try a different pie next time. Will travel the 20 minutes to get there without thinking twice”

“Really really enjoyed Shirley's on my recent food tour! It is hard to find good Indian food in this city, but this place was pretty darn good! We had the pappadum and samosas to start and they were both SO good. The pappadum was perfectly cooked and crunchy. I got the chicken tikka for dinner and the chicken was perfectly cooked with perfect touch of spices. Full of flavor and cut so easily. My friends all got curries and loved their curries as well. This is one Indian restaurant in the city I would definitely return to! Great customer service!!”

“This place satisfies me in more ways than just having an empty stomach. The food is always hot and fresh and the overall atmosphere is very comforting. Love the staff as they are always wholesome and they even remember the way I like my meal prepared. You can honestly feel the food is made with effort and not just slapping two pieces of toast together and “voilà!” The manager goes out of her way to make sure every single customer is treated with respect. I think her name is Courtney. I remember one particular incident, I was ordering my usual and she recalled it from memory... a lady came storming in shouting “there was a baby in an unattended van without the heat going”. I told her I wanted to help and she said if I were to step out of line and help the poor hysterical woman, Courtney would make sure my order was taken care of. Sure enough, I stepped out to assist the concerned woman. I’m came back inside and there my order was, readily prepared even with my usual chips and OJ. I didn’t Even have to ask. She thanked me for being a upstanding bystander. It’s always a pleasure when she’s there. I can tell she really knows how to run this business. I will be telling everyone about this place!!!!”

“I've been to this food truck twice and the pizza is really good, thin crust. The lady is alway sweet and friendly. The only problem I've had was some of the edges were over cooked and black. Overall, the pizza was delicious and I would eat from there again.”

“It's great to finally have a Korean fried chicken place in the area. The chicken is tender and juicy, though the coating could use a little more crunch. The Surpfried flavor described online wasn't on the menu here (shame, that was the one I really wanted to try). And where's the pickled moo? Adding a little container of it to the order would get that fifth star.”

“I will do this in two parts. Takeout and dine in. Takeout Whoever is at the take out area is always polite and friendly. It does take sometime to get your order compared to what they tell you on the phone. There is no place to sit and wait unless you sit at the bar. The food 90% of the time looks like it was thrown into the containers from across the kitchen. When I open them at home it looks like I through them down the stairs first. Food can be hot or cold but usually tastes good. Dine in The place is usually clean and well maintained. The service is hit or miss. The waitresses are always polite but sometimes they just forget about you. Some of them take your order without writing it down and most of the time it's wrong. Once and a while managers will walk around ask you how everything is going and of course those are the times when everything is fine. Food is usually very good. It almost looks like the pictures(the complete opposite of takeout) the drinks are pretty good. Sometimes they seem weak/watered down but overall are good. You get the best service at the bar imo. Overall typical chain restaurant”
