“I visited here with my wife a few weeks ago. The service was excellent and the owner (I believe) was such a likable, approachable gentleman. Food was amazing. We especially liked carbonara. Because the portions are generous, we only get to try three meals but will definitively come back to try different items on the menu. With such good service and amazing food, prices were very very reasonable, too. I’m now a huge fan of this Italian restaurant.”

“Really great little deli. I got a Greek salad with grilled chicken here the other day and was seriously impressed for a deli salad. All the proper ingredients were actually in it (except dolmas) it was a great portion and the price was reasonable. I was craving a salad today today and drove out of my way to come back. They have a nice selection of hot foods too that looked great (I'm dieting though and didn't succumb). Service is fast and friendly too. I think this is my new spot.”

“This place is alright. It's got good comfort food and a laid back atmosphere. It's always crowded and there are certain rules for how you get a table. I think it involves a chalk board or something. I haven't figured it out yet. If you go, go with 10 people and you can get the private room upstairs. It's apparently a well known place on Central Ave in Yonkers known for its wings. The wings are big, I'll give them that. One wing basically equals two. Once you do get a table, the staff is very friendly and accommodating.”

“I have been coming to this Burger King for over 35 years. It's always clean and neat. The food is consistent and the help is always friendly. I've done the drive-in plenty of times and have been very happy with it. It doesn't get that busy at any one time because it's consistently busy throughout the day. I wish it were open late at night. The bathroom is always clean. Parking is very easy. It's in a convenient neighborhood location on central Avenue just North of Old Army Road in Edgemont. I often see many neighborhood people here and lots of families. Nothing is ever stale because they make it fresh right on the spot and you get hot food. Enjoy this BK one day.”

Yet, it makes me happy to find places that, despite its potential limitations like veganism, can still shine as a diamond of a restaurant.
