Plum Point Lodge

I was there for an evening event and the food was great. We walked around the property and the yurts were so cool and inviting. The fire pits were relaxing and the bar well-stocked. Beautiful views, warm hospitality- the whole package!

Stayed in the yurts - it was a unique experience. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable. They are positioned fairly close together so you can definitely hear your neighbors. Our yurt could use some deep cleaning - especially in the bathroom where there were several cobwebs. Need some new carpets in the bathroom as well. The couple that we traveled with had a microwave in their yurt but we didn’t - although the price was the same. ??? The food at the restaurant was good and the service was great. Dinner entrees were on the pricey side though - $27 for a chicken breast cutlet with some polenta.

Everything about Plum Point Lodge was warm and inviting. They kept in touch with frequent emails so we knew what to expect when we arrived. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not extravagant but adequate. Could have used a coffee set up in the room because I rise very very early. The restaurant Sapalta was expensive but didn't disappoint. Everything was delicious and did not regret spending. Would definitely go back again.

Stayed here in the fall, wonderful property with great views of the lake. The room was nice; we were blown away at the great restaurant and bar on property. It has a convenient location that was central to everything we wanted to do while in the area.

When we were turned into the resort the first thing we noticed was the stunning views of the lake and the incredible grounds of the main building. Upon getting out of the car we found out it was incredibly muddy and that the restaurant was closed. However, prior to arriving the resort called me to tell me that there were intense rains and they were moving us to a less muddy location (we stayed in a yurt) - They didn't cancel our stay, instead their humble and awesome staff were out working and doing whatever they could to make sure all the guests were accommodated. This resort took some major lemons and turned into the the sweetest lemonade. We were able to truly enjoy our time there and wished we had more. Can't wait for our second visit.
