Waterfront Seafood Shack

The food was excellent. Seafood lightly breaded to perfection. Atmosphere was open air, dockside, laid-back and friendly. Our server, Jeff, was extremely welcoming, courteous and attentive. After the fresh seafood, right off the boat, he recommended the butter fried pound cake with butter pecan ice cream. Wow. Still thinking about it.

2016: The Tile fish sandwich was amazing! Jeff Is a great guy and served us some fresh fish. Fried pound cake and pecan ice cream!

2019 update: they've expanded outdoor seating and the grouper sandwich is still amazing. Deep fried corn on the cob is tasty.
They still do the fried pound cake with ice cream and it's so so good.

We ate here at the recommendation of a local friend. Food was fantastic. Our server, Jeff, was laid back and very friendly. This just may be our new favorite spot in Calabash. Love the outdoor under umbrella seating.

Very fresh seafood! Great view overlooking the water. Saw and eagle and an osprey. The osprey had a fish. Jeff was a great server, very friendly. We will be back!

The food was good. I think pretty much everything is fried. The slaw was easily some of the best I've had! Nothing fancy, just a few tables in the grass, but it's a nice quiet location in the back corner with a view of the water. If you're looking for no frills, plain, simple, fresh seafood, then this place is for you.
