Archetype Brewing - West

Such a fantastic place to spend an afternoon/evening! A great space with lots of outdoor and indoor seating, plus a great rooftop area. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, welcoming and enthusiastic. Pizza and an Asian fusion restaurant (both are fantastic) nextdoor so it's very convenient to stay for more beers and get a bite to eat without having to leave. I will most certainly go back!

I'm not going to let topic of the only roof top deck in West Asheville dominate this review. But there is one and the sunset colors in the clouds above you can be great. The space is open and super dog friendly, two patios, the roof deck and a large open interior make for plenty of room to spread out and have lots of friends. The staff are always great and can match a beer to your tastes. The beer is why we are here however. This is not a factory brewery. As their website states, the beer is "free-form and relies on constant experimentation". After drinking there since opening day I can say that the experiments are yielding delicious beer.

Very fun environment! The beers were top notch and they have a fun quiz to suggest a beer based off your personality. Dog friendly so we saw a bunch of cute pups around. No food directly at the brewery but a lot of places around to grab a bite!

What a great place to hang out! A great facility, friendly staff, and also dog and runner friendly! Their selection of beer is great, and there's a pizza place right next to them if you get the munchies!
They also sponsor a blood drive @ every 8 weeks, which tells me they're really down to earth and community oriented. Make this your first stop on any brewery tour!

Fresh delicious home brews! Great atmosphere. Pizza next door. Spot on perfect. Don’t know how they bring so much flavor to a 4% beer but the Coffee Milk Stout is friggin great. Robust.
