If you are craving incredibly delicious, flavor-packed Jamaican food, then look no further! We were lucky to have Queens Island visit our neighborhood. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and let me tell you, "Queenie" can cook! Her marinade game is next level! We ordered the Jerk Chicken and Brown Stew Chicken with rice, festival and plantains. The food smelled amazing and tasted even more incredible. The brown stew chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender, stewed in a rich brown gravy like sauce. The jerk chicken had the perfect slight tang and kick. My husband and I took one bite of each dish and our eyes were rolling in the back of our head! The rice with the brown sauce, with the sweet plantain and that delicious festival (which my daughter took and ate all of ours) had us licking the plate. I've had "Jamaican" food in lots of restaurants over the years and I can say this truck is the best and is legit! My husband said of the 20 food trucks we've hosted, this one is his favorite! AND Queenie and her family are such friendly and lovely people! I also appreciated the art on their truck. It's clear a lot of pride and love goes into their food and their work. Run out and try their food, you won't regret it.

Galldang do I love Queenie’s food! Huge portions and every single bite is so incredibly flavorful, you can taste how much she loves what she cooks! I recently got oxtail (the most tender meat I’ve ever had—my god), jerk chicken (so, so tasty), brown stew chicken (absolutely perfect). I also tried the ackee, a tropical fruit I haven’t had since my mom lived in Costa Rica years ago, that tastes like the lovechild of eggs and cashews; and her cabbage and red peas & rice are just packed with flavor. I don’t know what this woman does to put so much magic into each bite but I hope she keeps doing it forever. And Queenie is sweet as can be! Go get it.

If you have not stopped by you’re missing out! I drove past and was wanting to try something different so I decided to stop and it was the best decision I’ve made all day. The jerk chicken and cabbage is to die for! The rice is perfect and fluffy! I assure you I am a picky eater and I could eat at this place every day of the week. Do yourself a favor and drop in. You won’t regret it! Thank you so much for the fabulous meal!

Queenie's food is so delicious, no lie! My husband and I had her cater his father's day meal. I usually don't eat lobster because of previous experiences but after tasting their lobster I absolutely love lobster now. Thank you Queenie and Kiaree for bringing Jamaican comfort food to Asheville, NC. Bravo Queens!!!

Hands down the absolute best Authentic Jamaican Soul Food. & I only say Soul because with every bite you can tell that’s what Queenie puts into it. I have tried every item at least once (mostly more) & I’d
Recommend to anyone from babies to the elderly!!! Give it a try if you haven’t. The Shrimp Pasta is my absolute favorite 🙌🏾
