The food was amazing and service was just as good. We had a lovely dinner. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a fine dining experience. Thanks to Emma for such wonderful service!

Was excited to try this place after reading some recent reviews. Everything was just average at this price point. I will admit my expectations for a 40-50 dollar steak are quite high. So many better options in the area for a top tier meal. I feel like I can buy a steak at Harris Teeter and create a similar product.

Absolutely amazing food, drinks, and customer service. It’s a bit pricey, but worth every penny. We’re local, and after a year of Covid staying home were amazed to learn we had somehow missed out on this gem of a restaurant. It was some of the best food we’ve ever had in Asheville. Watching the chefs cook on an open flame grill was pretty awesome too. We will definitely be back. Bravo to the owners!

Loved it! Takes courage to open a new restaurant but to do it in the middle of a pandemic? Kudos to these good people. Please support them. If we come back to Asheville we will definitely make a return visit to Asheville Proper!

A great steak house, possibly the best in Asheville. They have wonderful food, every appetizer, entre, side and desert was delicious. They offer unique choices of meat that take you off the beaten path of flank steaks and fillets. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, they stayed on top of drinks and the needs of the table all night without batting an eye.
