Went there for a dinner with my wife and had an amazing meal. We enjoyed the whole experience so much we asked Emma, who was a fantastic server, about what it would take to open a Daddy Mac in our hometown. The food was fabulous, the environment was exceptional and will definitely come back any chance we can! Maybe they might put one in Columbus Georgia so we can enjoy it all the time.
Food was pretty good … the service was fairly slow for an afternoon lunch .. if you want a martini just don’t order it here .. it comes half full with no rim.. please see below picture. Other than that the skillet brisket Mac and cheese was good and the banana pudding dessert was amazing !
My boyfriend and I had dinner here, and I really enjoyed it. Parking was easy, and we had about 10 minute wait to be seated. It took another 15 for the food to be ordered and served. We ate outside and it was very nice. Christine was our server, and she was attentive. I got the classic burger with tots, and my boyfriend and I shared a side of mac and cheese. The food was absolutely amazing. The burger was unique in its spices which separates it from a regular burger. The tots were crispy and delicious. The mac and cheese was very rich and flavorful. The only complaint I have about my meal is that I was given a side of ranch without asking for it, and was charged for it. I assumed the ranch came with the meal, so I used it, but I honestly would have gone without the ranch if I had known it was an extra charge. My boyfriend said it wasn’t that big of a deal to make a fuss over, but I’m a college student so it’s important to me. Nonetheless, we left a $7 tip because the service was great for being outdoors, and the food was worth it.
Try the Collard and Pimento Cheese dip. You will NOT regret. The BBQuterie board was perfectly portioned for my husband and I. Sangria sweet tea was delicious. Service was great. Wish our BBQ had more sauce in it but I'm sure we could have asked for more. Would definitely return if we were in Asheville again
The club sandwich is HUGE. But good. Hubby got Burnt End Mac and loved it. Our waitress Mindy was awesome. She kept a great check on us and was very helpful with what we ordered. This was our first time there. Would recommend it.
