Exquisite bliss! Louie's delivers it. Check out the Brisket Cheese steak. Worth a road trip. You will never regret it.
Judging food alone, was absolutely amazing. Grew up outside of Philly, and this is by far the best cheesesteak in Asheville and top 3 i’ve ever had. The staff was polite and fast. The reason for the 4 star is two part.
The food price was absolutely outrageous. For two 8in cheesesteaks, two orders of fries, and 10 wings it was $70.
A gratuity of 15% was automatically included on the order...and that was known up front. However, the way it was worded made it seem that if you didnt select a gratuity, 15 was the automatic, like how door dash operates. So, there is an option to select additional gratuity, which I did, and ended up tipping for counter service twice. Counter servers should be paid a liveable wage, especially when youre operating out of another restaurant on their off days and 8in cheesesteaks cost $15. When i worked in the industry, counter was paid about double that of a server, and a dollar or two tip was awesome due to volume. In my experience, the main reason why people pick up, vs order delivery or table service, is to not spend extra money.
Suggestions to make this place 5 star:
Make the cheesesteaks foot longs for same price.
Reword the gratuity to (We charge this much for our food to tip our service staff, any additional gratuity adjusted below is in addition to gratuity added into food prices). I dont get tipping on front end before service happens.

Definitely get the anchovy relish on the Caesar salad, the flavors were simultaneously delicate and complex. I ordered our food right after they opened on a Saturday and it was a very COVID conscious transaction. There were few enough people outside that we felt comfortable to eat at a table outside, and consistent with Buxton standards, service was efficient and pleasant. I’m excited to return with a bigger appetite for that brisket cheesesteak. Even the takeout containers seemed consciously considered in these times of increased use of disposables. 10/10, highly recommend.
