Enjoyed a nice bacon and eggs breakfast here. Grits were delicious. Service super friendly. Biscuit was a bit dry but otherwise meal was great. I would come here again to try other menu items and recommend this place to others.
What a wonderful, unexpected treat and surprise. My wife and I were visiting from Ohio and planned to eat at another cafe up the street, but a nice lady noticed our dog, ended up chatting with us, and suggested we try Stony Hill. We did and we were so glad we did. She introduced us to the owners, made recommendations, and then we ordered. We ate outside because of our dog. Yet, the owner took so good care of not only us, he came out with a bowl of water for Jasper(our dog) and then came out with a piece of bacon for her. What a nice gesture! Our food was so delicious. My wife and I shared the breakfast sandwich and the egg and grits breakfast bowl. Hands down one of the best eggs and grits dish we ever had! We would highly recommend this new gem of a bistro!
10 STAR! Food is delicious, it’s very clean and centrally located. The Chef is passionate and talented, describing local aspects differ items on the menu. So so so good!
A new breakfast and lunch cafe. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was excellent, the croissant and tomato were fresh, and bacon perfectly cooked. There coffee is from a local business and was tasty and fresh; with three levels of boldness available. Clean, comfortable and the owners friendly and excited about there new enterprise. I wish them all the best, and cannot image that if they keep it up that they won’t be highly successful.
Visiting Asheville from Atlanta and stumbled upon this restaurant. Was planning on eating at another popular spot but the wait was greater than 2 hours so we decided to look around. First place we came to was Stony Hill Bistro. Man sitting outside told us the food was excellent. He was right! Excellent coffee, delicious sausage and biscuits. Everything was hot and fresh and the staff was great. Our party of four all ordered different plates and we were all extremely pleased. So happy we found this place and will definitely go back.
