La Guinguette

Me and my sister went here and we loved it! We only had some dessert because we weren't really hungry but the whole vibe of this place is amazing. I'll definitely be back to try more!

French food and the feeling here is above par. The service was very sociable and kind. The place has a cool atmosphere. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.

Went to their valentines dinner special. It was extremely delicious, however there were a few issues. The wait for food was over an hour when I had made the reservation weeks in advance. The waiter was friendly and had an abundance of knowledge on SKA bands.

For the food:
AVOID the split pea soup. It was of a baby food consistency, very bland and was just a bad time overall.

Prices were outrageous but it was valentines day so that happens.

Overall, a wonderful experience with good food and a great atmosphere.

Excellent food and service. They can easily adapt to gluten free and even keto eating by making you an omelette instead of the crepe. A small quaint place, had a lovely time talking with friends.

While staying in Black Mountain I discovered that some of the best eating establishments were breakfast places. La Guingette is a great one! The food was fresh and organic and properly prepared. We found a pleasant table outside and had a lazy, lovely breakfast. I'll eat there again when I move there later this year.
