“My wife and I decided to try a new restaurant that had been open a little under 2 week. We ordered the Quesabirra tacos and the beef fajitas The food was excellent having great flavor. The service was top notch very attentive with out being overbearing. We even had a couple of visits from the manager/ owner? Food was served quickly and well prepared, flavors were exceptional. We will absolutely be back to try some more of their offerings. Don't miss a chance to try out this new gem of a restaurant.”

“Stopped in for a late lunch of wings and sweet tea. There are limited lunch options after 2 pm in town, and Uptown Wing Bar definitely happily fills in. Tried the whiskey apple dry rub, did not disappoint! I'll be back to try their other flavors soon no doubt.”

“What a pleasant surprise! I half thought this was going to be just an OK lunch, but it was fantastic! Finding any place with vegan options is always a plus, and for my wife (not vegan) to get what she wants is off the chain! I've had plenty of avocado sandwiches, I make them myself at home, but what really set this one apart was the basil mayo! OMG Batman you hit this one out of the park! My wife loved her chicken salad sandwich and we both had the pasta salad, which was great as well. Service was a little lacking, but it seems everyone is short handed these days, so being able to enjoy sitting outside, we didn't mind that much for the wait, especially since our food was so good! For the Limbertwig Cafe this song comes to mind from my "Love Our Life," album, "Heart of Mine!" It's like they need where my heart was and served up a big heaping dose of pure love and flavor! What a great way to end our day in Morganton!”

“Nothing bad to say about the food, it’s pretty good. My wife & I agree about that. The service was pretty good too, had a mishap with the payment on their end that they worked quickly to resolve. The wait time was less than desirable however. Promise time was about 10 minutes or so and actually took longer than 30 minutes to get the order. In their defense that are starting off a new location and working out the bugs. If you have the time to wait for it then the food is pretty spot on . We both order beef Philly cheesesteaks and fries the fries was pleasantly surprising in flavor and the cheesesteaks was not shabby either. You get a choice of American and provolone cheeses, mayo, onions, peppers. Jalapeños and mushrooms are $1 extra each and a double helping of meat is an extra $3. Just recommend placing order ahead of time if you are in a hurry.”

“Probably the best restaurant to be located within the Knob Superette. I ordered huevos rancheros and two beef quesadillas. Both were of excellent quality and portions were beyond acceptable. Everything was delicious, hot, and ready very quickly. The staff was friendly and courteous too. Don't even second guess it, just go. They even ACP for those want to feel like they are eating Mexican food.”

Large portion sizes, fair and affordable prices, and super friendly staff! Love the homemade tortilla with no extra charge! Sauces are readily available in dining room too. “I had the bourbon burger and my wife had the south west chicken club. Both the sandwiches we phenomenal! The onion rings were amazing as well (fantastic ranch)! I gave them 4 stars tho because you can't serve me one of the best burgers I've ever had in Burke county and then give me a side of basic Bob Evans type Mac and cheese. Despite the Mac and cheese....the wife and i will be back to try everything else because our sandwiches were SO GOOD.”

“Hillman beer is brewing very delicious beers! 16+ choices to choose from, You will definitely find something to enjoy. The staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful finding you a beer to enjoy! The Taproom is in the building across from Moondog Pizza(they will deliver) and adjacent to the old Catawba brewery, which will become a restaurant and brew house in the future.
