They treat you amazing when you come through during the times they are open. I’ve heard plenty of restaurants/food/drink places having extremely low staffing. At least they are willing to cut down hours and not make their workers be miserable working 9+ hours a day when all y’all know good and well we’d SWAMP this place out if their lobby and regular hours were normal… so give them some slake👌”

“Sadly this restaurant is closed. The owner retired. Unfortunately, no one took over. It was an awesome simple place. This is an awesome place to have a very very good southern food. I am not too fond of some of the southern food but this place has sold me! I plan to go back as often as I can. Clean place and even in the bathroom. ((grin)) You can see the kitchen. You may be able to see some cook making cakes. The cakes and desserts are homemade. It is an odd place because it used to be a convenient store but it is quaint.”

“If y’all haven’t tried this place you’re missing out!! We travel from McDowell county just to eat here!! Every time we go they are so friendly and have fantastic food!! I can’t complain about anything especially the price. For a normal meal for our family of 4 at a burrito restaurant in McDowell we are usually charged around $50-$60 BUT AT ALPINE BURRITO, we can feed a our 4 PLUS My sister-in-laws family of 4 for $60. That’s 8 people for $60!!! That’s beyond amazing!! We will continue to go here and spread the word for them!! Also want to say a big thank you to Lynn who works there!! She always greats us with a smile and has a fantastic work ethic!! She makes you feel right at home and makes you want to come back again and again!! Thank you Alpine Burrito for the amazing food and prices!!”

“Some of the best BBQ and brisket I've ever had. We drove five hours to try this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. I loved the BBQ and brisket, wife had the Kansas city ribs that were very delicious. All the sides were very flavorful as well. We had the mac and cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes. We're not normally into hush puppies but theirs were very good, even the sweet tea was on point. I loved all the in house made sauces and brownie for dessert. Staff and owners were very nice and helpful, We highly recommend Boulevard BBQ and will definitely be back when in Morganton again.”

“This is NOT a Dunkin Donuts store! They (Speedway Store) only make about 10 or so different donuts. They are in a glass case that you can see. I have found that the donuts at stale or hard Most Of the time, not always. Your best time to get fresh donuts is early in the morning. My opinion is only based on past experiences and from what others say while I'm in the store. I love Dunkin Donuts and wish they would open a store locally. also, I have found that the young man who works the night shiftis very friendly and knowledgeable (if he still works there).....”

“Delicious! The staff is super friendly, the food is fresh, tortillas are made by hand which brings their food to another level. We had steak and chicken tacos along with chicken quesadillas, the pulled chicken is juicy and seasoned perfectly. The steak was marinated appropriately and well cooked. All in all the food is great and I highly recommend. Their red sauce is HOT with a nice flavor, green sauce is just enough heat with a flavor bomb. I will be returning!!”
