“The building is simple and plain to me those types of restaurants are always like Gold. I decided to take a chance. The lady at the register was very nice, and the Cook was in sight you could tell they were very clean people as each order I watched the Cook make she cleaned after herself very well. The food was hands down the best Hispanic food I've ever ate. I have looked everywhere for a true tamale. The Mexican Tamale was truly the best I've ever ate.The rice could be better as I love Mexican Rice. I got a bunch of food and needless to say everything was so delicious. Highly recommend this place to everyone. I will never eat Hispanic food from anywhere but here after today. Best Hispanic food in all of North Carolina!”

“I was told about this place from an extended family member. It is buffet style breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Really good southern comfort food and the whole place is decorated with antique items. The breakfast buffet is definitely the "bomb" but, the dinner was limited to just one meat choice. Still a bargain for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Staff was great in the morning but, a little bit bitter in the evening. It is all about customer service guys!”

“This was a nice McDonald's. The staff was friendly and greeted us with a smile. The woman who took my order actually seemed to care about what we wanted. Another employee asked my husband if he wanted butter. She asked if he wanted jelly. My husband was really impressed with that because he usually has to beg for such things. The restroom was cleaner than average. Our meal was hot and fresh tasting. My only complaint is that the coffee didn't taste very good. Definitely a superior McDonald's.”

“Where do I start? Very friendly. Great menu selection and if the rest is as good as the Burrito Mexico and El Guadalajara, wow! The plate was huge and it was full. Enough to feed 2 people easily. I noticed every other meal served while we were there was plenty as well. They really made sure no one left hungry. Their salsas (on a salsa bar) were very good. At least 6 different kinds. This restaurant will be a regular stop for us.”

“This was my first visit. My husband called our order in ahead and I stopped to pick it up on my way home. I waited the amount of time we were told it would be, but still had to wait and excessive amount of time. The parking lot was full and they appear to have a great business. The food was tasty and portion sizes were generous. We had two dinners, a dessert that came with a meal for an additional small price, and no drinks and the total was right at $31. I thought that was expensive for two to go meals.”

“Every time we go to Happy Garden, we are greeted with a friendly smile and hospitality. The combination of Chinese and Japanese food options makes this our favorite place to eat out. The Christian radio playing over the speakers is a plus too. Our autistic daughter loves the decorations/artwork and is always welcomed too. “The manager is the only problem. The music is annoying and when you ask to change it or put it down she puts it even louder. But everyone is so so so kind. My daughter and I always go their at night to get some cookies and the people at night are very nice. Another problem is they mess up orders quiet often but I think it’s just because they are hiring new workers. But over all it’s and amazing place and Valdese wouldn’t be Valdese without the friendly workers of McDonald’s.”
