“We ordered online for pickup. The website had some duplicate menu items and it was not always clear as to what sides came with entrees. We ordered curry chicken, jerk chicken and jerk pork meals. We asked for mild jerk on both meals. All meals were great. They had one of the best plantains I have ever had. Chicken and pork was moist and well seasoned. Cabbage was well seasoned. My only complaint is that there was not enough beans in the rice and not enough plantains on the plate.”

“I had heard some pretty bad things about this buffet before moving back here, but I think it is under new management? Either way, I decided to try it out, because I had a mighty need for Chinese food. I found the food to be excellent when I went. The peppered chicken was the best I've tried, and the other foods I tried either exceed expectations or met my expectations. The staff is polite, the food is wonderful and filling, and it's a comfortable place to eat. Will definitely be going back- they even send coupons in the mail every few months.”

“My wife and I dined there last night and everything was excellent! I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had the fried chicken sandwich. My only complaint that isn't that big of a deal (still 5 star review) was that our food came out about 10 minutes apart from each other. Both were fresh and hot, but I had to wait for my wife to get her food to start on mine. I would suggest just keeping it under a hot light in the back and bringing it together if the timing can't be exact with the different dishes. Will definitely be back!”

“My dad saw this place going up and laughed. Said “what do they think this is Berkeley? Nobody is going to want Vegan Cinnamon rolls in Concord!! You can bet I was laughing when he walked in the kitchen today, “Kelly, You have to try this cinnamon roll it’s fantastic!!” ???? Apparently he went back to order a second after he loved the first one so much. My mum went on an on about how good the dough was. Basically, the whole family approves, even the skeptic, which I think is the strongest endorsement I can provide.”
