“This is one of those "have to splurge one night of your vacation and go here" places. Both the food and service were consistent with what you'd expect of the finest of dining establishments but in a cozy mountainside setting. Everything we had was phenomenal and service was spot on and personal. The chef came and visited our table several times to ensure everything was to our liking. I can't say enough good things about this place if you're looking for an amazing dining experience. I would highly recommend it!!!”

“My fiance took me to Gideon Ridge recently for the weekend where he proposed because he knows how much I love this place. Overlooking the mountains in Blowing Rock, it is the most romantic destination to stay for the weekend or simply make a reservation for dinner (one of the best restaurants in the area). The accommodations are absolutely beautiful - each of the ten rooms has its own touches that make it unique and special. The staff was so incredible all weekend in making our engagement so very special. They truly thought of every single touch to make it the most memorable weekend and experience of our lives. Thank you to everyone at Gideon Ridge. To anyone considering staying here, I highly recommend!!! Wish I could give them more than just the allotted 5 stars here on Google!”

“I love Cheek's. Been stopping for several years now and I've never had an unpleasant experience. I have been in for lunch however, and had a lot of fun. Thumbs up on the menu too. I'm partial to the slawdogs or just all the way as they call em' at Cheek's.”
