Clawson's 1905 Restaurant

While on vacation in Atlantic Beach area, visited this restaurant. Love the decor, the staff were friendly, good service, manager visited all the tables and checked on customers. Facilities were clean. Food was GREAT Hope to visit again someday.

We eat here every year over the Labor Day weekend with the family. We have been coming to Beaufort for the past 15+ years for boating, swimming, and fun for the end if the summer outing. Always good food served by an attentive and friendly staff at Clawson's.

Travelers, this is a Beaufort institution. Wonderful historic restaurant located right on the Beaufort waterfront. Great burgers and sandwiches. Service is nice and atmosphere is fun. We recommend.

Loved the food! Everything we ordered was exceptionally delicious! From the fish and chips to the portabella burgers, oyster burger was awesome and we had the calamari appetizer. It is costly but to be expected for location and we ordered a lot of seafood. Overall the ambiance and history is the best part! We sat up in the balcony and had a large party which the young waiter absolutely took in stride and did a great job!

We were visiting Beaufort for the day and decided to try Clawson's for lunch. What a lovely place! I had the crab cake salad with cilantro citrus vinaigrette and it was SO good! The dressing was probably the best I've ever tasted! My hubby had the fried shrimp basket and he said it was delicious! We will definitely be back 9n our next visit!
