The dock house was amazing. The food was really magnificent. I got a flounder sandwich, it was perfectly fried. The homemade slaw is out.of this world. We also got some softshell crabs and they were delicious. The staff was very friendly and informative. We sat outside and the view was to die for. It over looks Taylor's Creek and there were so many boats it was a very nice experience. Over all great experience at this establishment. I highly recommend the food and the outdoor seating.

Location is nice, and service was good, but food was hit or miss. Long wait for food, despite being told “most of our food was ready” (I’d rather have some of the food fresh than all of the food cold.) Server recommended a shrimp burger, which was a few pieces of shrimp on a huge bun, no sauce or toppings. Very disappointing. Tuna was also over cooked. Other appetizers (nachos, crab dip) were good.

I love this place! The Dock House is a premium location in the middle of all the action in Beaufort North Carolina. Always a pleasure to enjoy a cocktail and a bite to eat while sitting on the shaded patio and looking at the beautiful boats coming and going. We have also enjoyed the live music in the evening while watching the sun go down.
