Had an amazing night at Casa San Carlos last night!! Service was amazing and the food was delicious. If you leave hungry than that’s on you! You get your monies worth!! Saw the owner cooking and would come out and check on the tables and quickly go back to cooking. In the dining room it was a team effort and worked as a team! The Scallops and Blue Crab Ravioli was amazing! We have been here every other week since they opened and we have never had a bad experience with the food or service. Great job to your team!!
Loved Casa San Carlo! Just went for dinner and had the best meal. The atmosphere, the food and the service was hands down the best. Our waitress, Cindy, was very attentive and brought extra napkins, filled glasses before asking and was there when we needed her for anything. The food was amazing! From the bread to the dessert. And even Carlo came out and interacted with every table, several times! We are already looking forward to going back! Well done!
Had dinner here at "Casa San Carlo" in Moorehead City N.C. and it was absolutely delicious. We were with our very good friends and the moment we entered we each received a handshake by the owner. The food and atmosphere was amazing. We all would highly recommend this restaurant of Master Chef Carlo to everyone.
One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever dined at!!! The portions are HUGE and the service is excellent. One of the people I was dining with ordered the calamari thinking it was fried. When he got it, he really didn’t like it. The owner asked why he wasn’t eating it, and he explained why. The owner immediately yelled back to the cooks to start making fried calamari. Took 10 minutes. Most of the dishes are around $20 but it’s worth it!
What an unexpected gem! We stopped by for a late lunch & both ordered a Caprese salad. One would have been plenty for the two of us. And it was outstanding! There were five large slices of fresh mozzarella layered between five large slices of tomato, topped with a drizzle of basil pesto. All on a bed of fresh basil. Marinated mushrooms were on one side and roasted red pepper with capers on the other. It was outrageous! I suspect the mozzarella was homemade; it was light, airy and delicious, enhanced by the balsamic vinegar. There were flakes of some other Italian cheeses dusting the plate as well. Oh, there was a fresh-baked small garlic loaf as well, with garlic sauteed in olive oil and sprinkled across the top. which was also delicious. If their other courses are as good, this is a not to be missed experience.
