Parrott's On Eleventh

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant and we're so glad we did. The reviews are accurate...this place is REALLY good! It was the perfect place to celebrate an anniversary but not too fancy if you happen to stumble upon it dressed with your laid back beach attire, like we did. Either way the staff will welcome you and make you feel like you belong at as this 1898 historic home. The food is well prepared and tastes perfect. We had the Parrot salad, Pimento cheese, Pistachio Encrusted Mahi, Salmon with Crab, Shrimp & Grits, Scallops with Grits, and their Chocolate Cobbler/lava dessert, twice-all of it was AMAZING and all of that food was over the course of two nights bc yes, we came back the very next night! When you find a restaurant with excellent customer service and excellent food, there's NO NEED to go try something different at another place. As a matter of fact, we saw two other parties from the night before return also-it was so funny and it felt like "Cheers"(NORM) for a moment, but THAT should tell you something. I noticed even some locals chatting with the waiters outside and it confirmed that this place is very unique as the wait staff were very sincere in their care for the customers-you can't fake that. We've been to several restaurants over the course of 4 years in the Atlantic Beach/Morehead City area and this is Truly the best place to eat and experience not only excellent food but exceptional service! We will be back and now have a favorite place in Morehead City! Thanks!!????

These guys never miss the mark. It is amazing every single time. You will see different specials each day as well.

We had a fabulous meal. Their specialty cocktails are great. The shrimp bisque was awesome. My wife had the fillet. It was cooked to perfection and so tender you could cut it with a fork. I had the salmon special stuffed with crab and a special glaze. Best I ever had. Our server Butch was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu, wines and drinks . This is the 3rd time we’ve been there and have never been disappointed. Parrots has the best food on the beach.

Awesome food. Do not miss the scallop appetizer- it is to-die-for. Absolutely amazing staff of professional waiters. Small intimate venue- that can sometimes get a tad loud- but the service and menu far outweigh anything else.
