In the aftermath of Hurricane Florence by opening for business inside the store and at the pumps allowing people to get a fare and set amount of fuel. “Delicious (and beautiful) food served in a lovely tearoom with a wonderful atmosphere. In addition to great food they put on live, festive plays. The actors are the servers! I drive from Jacksonville to Morehead frequently for the homemade quiche of the day and salad with walnuts. They offer a variety of teas but I prefer old fashioned sweetened iced tea which they also serve. You need to eat at this cafe!”
