We had breakfast here yesterday during our short vacation!The food and service were both excellent! Both my husband and I got eggs, bacon and toast! The eggs were cooked perfectly and very fluffy! The bacon was crisp and had a great flavor! We will definitely be back during our next trip to Emerald Isle!
In the past 2 weeks I've had breakfast here twice with my wife and friends and lunch today. The new ownership is a serious step up from the former Carteret Cafe at the same location. Breakfast omelet's are great, pancakes fluffy, and bacon crisp! They improved on the coffee as well. Today's lunch was a Gyro for my wife and a mushroom Swiss bacon burger for me. Both came with a lot of thin cut, perfectly cooked French fries. It was a great lunch! Great service too.
