“Duke's being open for dinner is a wonderful addition to Hickory's restaurant. I was there for dinner last week and have to admit this is my favorite restaurant. I am looking forward to going back. The food, service, and atmosphere are top notch. I had duck and my friend crabcakes, the portions are perfect size, the presentation lovely. The atmosphere, tablecloths, nice silverware, attentive service and soft piano music creates a lovely dining experience.”

“I will make this statement before I really start my review. I frankly DON'T like Spicy hot foods! That being said, I just ask if a menu item is spicy hot before I order it. This restaurant in particular has made vast improvement in its customer service, menu, and going out of the way to help each and every customer. The staff in general is bilingual with several staff members speaking multiple languages. When I ask if an item is spicy, they will tell me if a non-spicy version can be made. If a child(ren) start being "bored" or acting up a staff member or manager brings a toy, coloring mat, anything until the orders are ready. I like the attitude and helpfulness of the entire staff.”

“Mellow Mushroom has a laid back atmosphere with a part sports bar/ part coffee house vibe. The food is always made to order using fresh ingredients, I have yet to be unhappy with any dish I have tried...in fact, I have never had a bad meal from this place. The servers are always polite and timely. They tend to run a lean staff so the wait at peak hours can be a little much, but you can tell the staff is going a full capacity so it is understandable..plus the food is worth it. :)”

“The atmosphere was great. Service was on point even when busy and wait staff was very friendly. The star was of course the steak. I had the porterhouse and compared to places around this area it was the best I ever had. Juicy and thick, cooked to perfection. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. I like mine soft. Otherwise every thing was really good, shrimp too. I tried the grilled fish and it was wonderful. Your desert bar is second to none. If you leave there hungry, it's your own fault.”
