“This was our first time at La Autentica and I can easily say we will be back to try some of their other dishes. We stayed pretty simple and classic with our choices this time. We started with the Guacamole Mexicano. It was chunky and full of flavor. Just a note: if you don't like a lot of spice ask for them to go light on the jalapeños. It was a bit spicy. For entrées I had the chicken fajitas and my husband chose tacos. The chicken was nicely seasoned. I didn't find any gristle which was definitely appreciated. My husband had a grilled chicken, pastor, and barbacoa tacos. Again, everything was seasoned really well and tasted fresh. Next time we'll try their margaritas. I also want to give their Ceviche a try.”

“Delicious!!! Brisket sandwich melted in mouth. My husband had the half rack of ribs and said it was very tasty. Don’t forget to save room for dessert!!! Fried Oreo’s with ice cream or Banana Pudding! So glad this is in Hickory!!!! Very quick and friendly staff”

“Great if you're looking for a buffet with no dessert pizza and 13 varieties of mushrooms included pizza, lol. It was very clean and seemed to be staffed appropriately. Just didn't hit the spot. I'm a huge cheese and dessert pizza gal, and even after asking for options without mushrooms, nothing new was added within the time before I left. The second time here. I probably won't be back, but that's okay, just wasn't for me. HOWEVER, if you love mushrooms, this is the place for you.”

“I order a late lunch for our shop workers and myself, the food was very good. We ordered the Chicken Kabob with rice, veggies and humus, the Beef Shawarma with the same and one Chicken Shawarma Wrap with fries. The Beef Shawarma and Chicken Kabob were dynamite! I highly recommend it to everyone. The Chicken Shawarma Wrap needs improvement along with the fries which need to be more crispy and seasoned. I say a 4/5 stars and I will be back!”
