B-52s American Bar & Grill

Had dinner at B52 this evening and it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this restaurant to any one wanting great food shared in a welcoming atmosphere! ❤️

Great first experience. Friendly service, good food and comfortable vibe. A dozen or so beers on tap. Fish fry (cod) was served hot, with hybrid potato chips/fries and slaw. Plenty of parking on street out in front of restaurant.

Food was delicious, our steaks were cooked perfectly, and our fresh salads were great. Our server Regine (?) was prompt and friendly. But, 2 things did bother us. There was confusion about what constituted our 2 sides with our entree. It turns out that the entree sides are the ones that cost $1.99, and the $2.99 and $3.99 sides are extra charge, $1 and $2 respectively. The menu should be a little clearer about that. Also, a service charge for cards? Haven't seen that in a while, which is why we paid cash, and will pay cash when we come back.

Yay, welcome to Newton B52. Stopped in last night for dinner. I had a burger and hubby had chicken salad sandwich. Both were good. It was Thursday night and the place was full. Comfortable sitting area if you have to wait. The beautiful wood bar seats 20. We chose to eat at the bar. Very comfortable bar seats. High top tables along the further wall and regular tables in the middle. Guitarist/vocalist was playing. This is a very cool, modern place. Owner, Mitch, came out and introduced himself. Support our local businesses.
