Cork Wine Bar & Bistro

Thoroughly enjoyed lunch here with my mom! We sat at the barrel tables, which were intimate, comfortable & cozy! Loved the atmosphere, and the live music was an added bonus. Very friendly staff; Alex was our server and was outstanding. Great menu with a nice variety… I highly recommend the Angus Burger & fries! Will definitely be back in the evening to check out their dinner menu and indulge in their wine selection! We very much enjoyed our afternoon at Cork!

Some of the cheeses are hit or miss on the charcuterie board as they rotate in and out. 2x goat cheese’s while we prefer an American or a sharp cheddar. Mason jars and no straws? At this price point?! Got the Italian chopped and it was very finely chopped but too much oil and vinegar and not enough cheese. Wasn’t as impressed with the truffle fries as the other reviewers were. The bathrooms were pretty basic but clean. No beer on tap yet so you’re drinking canned if you’re not a fan of wine. Emily was a great server. I would come back and try something else, maybe. It can be a little noisy if there’s a large party in and they are playing table games. . .

Super friendly and causal staff. Atmosphere is very relaxing, perfect for chilling out with friends and sipping wine. Broad selection of beer, wine, and ciders. Boards are diverse and perfect size to pair with spirited drinks.

Cork is a great addition to the New Bern dining scene! They feature interesting wines, great charcuterie boards, and delicious small plates and entrees. This is my favorite kind of restaurant, because I love to try new wine and share a fabulous cheese board! Tonight, we ordered the Brussels and Beets salad, and the crab cakes. Both were excellent. Can’t wait to go back!

am thrilled that I decided to pop in for a late lunch today. I was so surprised by the beauty of the venue and how quickly I was told to find a seat. Great wine list! The menu was so special and detailed ingredients that it was so hard to choose! I chose the Spicy Italian Hoagie. I can say it was fresh and made to order and honestly one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The portions were huge and I finished off the rest for dinner. Seriously so excited for this new business and I think it is EXACTLY what New Bern needed. I will be back!
