Fowler's Southern Gourmet

Lunch was delicious! Has the brisket plate with 2 sides. The brisket was tender and flavorful. I had smoked potato salad and collards for the sides and both were amazing. The owner made his way around the dining room thanking each person for coming in. He shared with me where a few of the recipes came from and some of the special ingredients. You can just feel the pride and attention to detail that goes into the menu. This locally owned and operated establishment will be around for many years to come.

Attended a special meeting there tonight. The atmosphere was nice, clean, & the food was amazing... fresh northern brewed ice tea...and southern hospitality...Yes, I would recommend this place as a regular go-to...I plan to come back & try different things on their menu. Tonight was pulled pork & pulled chicken... both very well done... I liked both, but slightly favored the chicken. Both juicy & full of flavor!! It's a must place to visit. Ms. Carol ????

Utterly delicious. I first came to Fayetteville 25 years ago and had my first taste of NC BBQ and was instantly hooked. Fowler's is the real deal with smoke and sauce flavor profiles on point. I had the pulled pork with slaw and my wife had Brisket Caesar salad. The pulled pork was juicy, smoky (mouth watering uncontrollably now) and delicious. The brisket was as delicious and not dried out like most places. I also ordered fries (fresh cut) but realized too late they have smoked potato salad. All in all the best BBQ in town and many happy returns will be forthcoming. Thank you Fowler's for the best in southern cuisine.

Visited Friday afternoon. The food is great and owners and employees are very friendly. They cook everything fresh daily. This results in a sell out of food so get there as early as you can. Best pulled pork in NC. Great BLT made with pork bellies. Ribs, when available, are to die for. And, they serve craft beer.

Fowler’s food is skillfully prepared and presented. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly and seem to like working for Wade and his son. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if they were open all day everyday. I give the BBQ sandwich a 10 out of 10.
