“Yummmmmmy! Great smokey flavor. Kids and I got pulled pork sandwich platters. The potato salad is mild in flavor with celery seed. The mac n cheese was well received by my son. My daughter and I could have eaten a pound of the sweet potato casserole by ourselves! My husband had pulled pork and brisket with green beans. His only negative comment was that they should not call the beef "brisket" that because it is pulled beef and a lot of people would be upset at having brisket treated that way. The green beans were perfectly seasoned and the hush puppies, divine! The outside eating area was spacious and VERY clean. So nice to stop somewhere with the dog and not have to have someone eat alone outside.”

“THERE IS NO INSIDE SEATING. luckily we came on a day when it wasn't too bad outside. That being said, the pizza was AMAZING! The wings, fries, and sandwiches my family had looked good, but the pizza is definitely the reason to come here! Plus, they deliver to the 4x4 beach! Definitely recommend”

“What a fun way to spend an afternoon. We have 3 boys: 12,10 and 7. And sometimes it’s hard to find something that works for all of them. But this definitely fit the bill. And then some. My older son went right to the second level. The younger two stayed on the first level. My middle son also has Down syndrome and has shied away from ropes courses and zip lines til now. If I could give 10 stars to the staff, especially Dillon, I would. My son could enjoy this same as his brothers and next time he will have the confidence to do it again!! And the youngest is going to level 2! Thanks Corolla Adventure Park!!”

“This place is exactly what it should be. Fresh seafood with eat in or take out. We have 6 people in our family and it had something for everyone. The tacos were fantastic. But let me warn you. When you get a bushel of crabs you get a freakin bushel of crabs. When I ordered it I was told you need to eat that out side and I thought , what the heck. Well then they brought out a giant, and giant being kind , box of these crabs. And we ate and ate and ate. Half the family dug in and I swear the dam crabs were multiplying. We will be back again and if I ordered the bushel of crabs I’ll bring the neighbors, the next street over neighbors, heck I might even invite the other half of town. Oh and the seasoning that you get when you order the bushel is fantastic. Don’t know if it is home made or boxed, but I really liked it.”

“A cozy bar and grill for those who love golfing on the Green behind the bar, watching sports on the TV, or listening to acoustic music on the weekends. Everything on their menu is simple comfort food but made well. Their salad plates are deep, their sandwiches are thick, and their pizzas are hand made in the premises. They have a good alcohol selection and the place is also family friendly. Spacious bathrooms that show their age, same as the parking lot. Plenty of room for your RV or trailer and wheelchair friendly. Prices are reasonable and they also have a gift shop for the bar/golf course. Huge golf course that wraps around the neighborhood. Nice looking neighborhood and the locals are easy going as long as you don't speed”

“Played a round with my old man this morning. The tee-boxes were in excellent shape, “fairways” were nice (minus a par 5 on the back 9), greens were great, a little slow, but still in good shape. The staff was on-point, from the lovely lady at the pro-shop, grounds crew we ran in to on the course, waitress at the bar and grill and the cooks in the kitchen. Food was amazing! (Smokehouse burger with house chips pictured) *Only negative was a 2-some we let play thru driving within inches to the tees and greens. Have proof if needed.”

Most people purchase the buffet which has fried fish & chicken, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese (not like homemade), salad, soups, rolls, chopped greens (could be canned or frozen, but seasoned good), minced pork. Chopped chicken was not a choice on buffet or with the fried chicken/ BBQ platter. Great service-- Cheryl is very personable and fast. She has a great demeanor. My family and I were stuffed when we left.”
