Cockeyed Clam Restaurant

We had the nicest time here and the food was absolutely delicious! Great service, loved the lively atmosphere and cocktails were wonderful. It’s a hidden gem and we’d definitely be back. Maggie was our server/bartender and also found out she’s the owners daughter. She was delightful and made our experience that much better. Definitely check this place out. Grab a yummy cocktail if you are waiting on a table because it’s worth it! Hands down the best dinner we had on our OBX vacation.

same as a multitude of beach/sit-down family restaurants. pricy in the way these places in tourist locales are, this seemed perfectly ok. better than any place we could immediately find along that strip of road on welcoming outdoor dining and no mask shaming. our server was super-nice and friendly, as were all the staff. it's fine.

Our waiter, Corey, was great! They were busy, as expected for the season, the food was great, the fried clam app was great!! And the local draft beer IPA.

Had a tough time finding anything open due to the storm then we discovered this little gem! The servers so very friendly and the food was fabulous! We very much appreciated the service, our server was such a nice guy. It was nice after a tough week of being flooded to just relax and have a delicious meal. Will certainly be back! Thank you for making our trip more enjoyable! ❤️

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I found the restaurant on Google looking for a place with good oysters. Everything we ate was amazingly delicious. The restaurant was packed almost the whole time we were there; in a Wednesday in the off season. The locals eat there too so you know it’s good. I’ve seen a lot of reviews complaining about the price, but the portions are large. It is worth the money spent.
