Gocciolina

Geat Italian restaurant. Expensive place. But great people. The fish I had was to salty but the gave me free desert for it. It was the drinks and atmosphere that I went for.

I normally don't like cannolis but these were great! The grass-fed steak may have been the best steak I ever had. The appetizers and each of our meals were spectacular. You must get the double espresso. In short this restaurant set the bar.

Solid food... sometimes I don't like going out to eat cuz my wife and I are both good cooks and you don't get your money's worth... This time that was not the case The food was really good it's worth the wait.... The one thing I would say is the bread sticks they put in the glass on your table are just not needed. I recommend getting a bunch of the antipastos they are great. It's not even that expensive for Durham.

The best Italian food is all about the simple fresh ingredients.. Gocciolina nails that every single time. It is understated and it's all about the fabulous seasonal ingredients prepared just right. Portions are just the right size. Make reservations well in advance if you want to go on the weekends or popular times.

Absolutely amazing on all fronts! The specials were amazing, the cocktails mixed to perfection, the wine selection was top-notch, and the service excellent.
We ordered the pork chop, and the gnocchi for entrees and were not disappointed. The portions are perfectly sized so you can try a few different items.
I'll continue to come here when I've got a special occasion! It would also be perfect for a date night!
