Came here for dinner with friends. I was surprised that it was order at the counter vs seated service. There was a good variety on the menu and also specials but we were also informed that the specials were not yet ready (630 on a Friday evening) we tried the smash app, fried tomato plate, brisket and gumbo. The other thing is that none of our meals came out together. I appreciate the food coming out hot but would recommend setting that expectation when ordering. We will likely be back to try again for dinner and explore the menu a bit more.

F A N T A S T I C. Best brisket I've ever had. Everything I ordered was perfectly seasoned and cooked. My new fave place in town.

After eating at the food truck several times, I finally got to try the brick and mortar restaurant today and WOW! I got the fried catfish platter and subbed the broccoli for the potatoes that usually come with it. The catfish was amazing. The sauce they served with it was flavorful, and their broccoli is one of the tastiest vegetable sides you can find. My husband took one bite of his brisket and said, "Woah! This is REALLY good." I'm glad he liked it so much because I want to go back frequently.

Got the jambalaya and shrimp po boy to go for lunch. Drove back for 10 min and the quality didn’t diminish at all. I would love it if the jambalaya came with a choice of white or dark meat because the drumstick was amazing. I’m so happy it’s a brick and mortar now! Will be returning a lot.

Such a great dining experience! We loved the Brisket Sandwich! But were shocked with the huge portion sizes. Very adorable cozy space! So much though went into the design of everything from the hand painted tables to the ceiling.
