West End Cafe

Came here for dinner with coworker and his family. There was about a 15-20min wait (6pm, Friday) so not too long for prime time. It feels a little crowded inside but fortunately not too cramped. Our server was friendly, helpful with suggestions/recommendations, and check up on us frequently. I had a couple glasses of prosecco and the hot pastrami reuben. We enjoyed our dishes and had a pleasant meal here.

I’ve always enjoyed this place but a while since I visited. The service was excellent as always. The staff really knows the menu well and seems happy to help you figure it out. This time I had a salad platter which is mixed green salad and a scoop of curry chicken salad. West End Cafe has really tasty Caesar dressing. The truth is, have a sandwich or soup. They really nail that every time.

It’s a great place for catching up with a friend, lunch out with coworkers, or even for lunch with children.

Food is always fresh & always delicious! The service has been the same for over 20 years! Friendly, attentive, and so welcoming!

The best, most consistent restaurant in Winston-Salem.

Cute little spot! Had a bit of a wait on a Thursday evening, but sitting by their beautiful coi pond made the time enjoyable. Server was funny, energetic and cheerful! Food was pretty delicious, though I wish we had a bit more time to enjoy our salads before our entrees came out. I had the pork chop and was impressed by the size of the slab of meat for the price point.

Food was 4 stars overall, but the great service & experience made up for it! I look forward to coming back at lunch to try their salads and sandwiches.

We tried the mushroom burger and the hot Italian sandwich. The burger was okay, but the Italian sandwich was fantastic. We also got an order of the potato pancakes and those were really great, as well! Service was quick and always there when we needed it, as well as timing on the food being quick. We would definitely visit again if given the opportunity!
